Cat's Eye Cafe

The Cat's Eye Cafe is a values-based business: an all-vegan bakery guided by the pricipal of harmlessness. I bake everything myself, and I offer an ever-changing selection of cookies, muffins, scones, loaf cakes, and more in plastic-free packaging. Some of my baked goods are quite sweet, like frosted sugar cookies, and some are not, such as rosemary scones. I do love to show off vegan versions of classic junk foods, but I also prioritize cane sugar alternatives, like maple syrup and coconut sugar, with lower glycemic indices. I keep gluten-free (still vegan!) options in rotation as well. I sew and craft, so I hope to offer some scrunchies made from thrifted fabric in the future. My necessary frugality partners with my love for the ecosystem we belong to, and they underpin every aspect of the Cat's Eye Cafe, from financial to artistic. People can see and, even better, taste the care with which I run my business.
