About Us:

This is swift rain farmstead. Kayden was born into poverty in Philadelphia PA and is a Retired US Army veteran who believes good food should be made accessible to all people. Kayden started farming by getting his first set of kunekune pigs and becoming a registered breeder for the, at the time, endangered breed. Kayden shared his passion for helping people and his dream of having a farm that fed all people regardless of ability to pay, and Tricia has supported that dream since we fell in love. We believe in sustainable practices and using every part of the animal we can. On our farm animals only have one bad day. We love them, snuggle them, give them scratches and snacks and everyone has a name. Out of the lard, we make soaps and we grow a variety of vegetables. We donate as much as we can to local food banks and families along with our time. No one in this country should be going hungry. We offer help as much as we can.
