Award-Winning Chili Recipe

  1. In skillet, sauté garlic, peppers, and onions for 3 to 5 minutes.

  2. Add ground beef, cook until brown, drain excess grease.

  3. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water and chili seasoning. Stir well and simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour on low heat.

NOTE: When you use beef chuck, simmer on low heat for 2 to 3 hours or until tender.

VARIATIONS: Add your favorite beans,

Heat level 6-7: add 2 fresh chopped jalapenos

Heat level 8-10: add 1 fresh chopped habanero.
